Decisions & Faith

Taking decisions is like launching a spaceship towards Mars. The full ramifications are not known until some time later. For Mars, success of a mission is known within months. For other significant decisions, it sometimes takes years.

Yet we have to take decisions everyday. From deciding to brush one’s teeth to making like changing decisions once in a while. What makes the exercise difficult is trying to understand how each variables considered important today will evolve over time. To complicate things, it is impossible to know if the important variables will have the same importance in the future.

We take decisions and then brace ourselves for the best. It’s just about keeping faith that things will turn out ok.

While perspectivism does not regard all perspectives and interpretations as being of equal truth or value, it holds that no one has access to an absolute view of the world cut off from perspective.Instead, all such viewing occurs from some point of view which in turn affects how things are perceived.
